burning ps2
can someone tell me what are the best quality brand of cd and dvd for burning ps2
|
ritek go4's or go5's
|
For cd-r's try Verbatim data life plus.
|
How can I tell if my Ritek are go4 or go5? Here is what the label says:
DVD-R RIDATA DRD-478-RDCB50 |
Nevermind...I went to the site and the go5 are the only 8X Riteks, so I guess I have those.
|
Get DVDInfo.

I posted a similar question, but will ask here. Is there a problem with overburning..like if I have a 4X dvd-r and my burner burns it at 8X through 12X?
|
cookoo !!!!!! HELLO !!!!!!!!! burn speed not disc size lol
i sometimes get overburn with same size discs ,,, overburn n e way how can a 4.7 disc be bigger than a 4.7 ect ... bye the way top line was just in jest !!!! please dont hurt me im fragile :D |
No problem :)
But what do you call it when your burner burns over the rate that the media calls for? And is this problematic? It seems that when this happens, the memory buffer on the programs I used max out at 100%. |
As for overburning a dvd, well I dunno about that. But I do know that BeAll or whatever they call themselves makes a dvdr that is larger than the normal 4.7gigs. Google it. I think its called "extreme extended" dvd and are 4.85GB on the same size disc.
As for burning speeds, it depends on your media. I burn my 4x discs at 8x because Ive tested them and know they can handle it. If you use cheaper brand discs youll probably wind up with more coasters than successes. Tyler! |
I am using Riteks so I will just let the program go as far as burning speed. I tried manually limiting my burner to 4X and the programs acted weird (Alchohol and DVd Decrypter). Thanks for the info Tyler.
