I cannot install Chronicles of Rid****!
 

When I start setup it says:Starbreeze Autorun has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
First I thought it was because I didn't have SP1 installed. But after I installed SP1a, nothing changed. Anyone knows solution to this problem?

don´t run the autostart.exe.
check for setup.exe or setup.msi or whatever it´s called.

DVD-Autorun opens Setup.exe, autrun.inf says:

[autorun]
OPEN=Setup.EXE
ICON=Setup.EXE,0

And it does indeed. There is no other Install-file on the DVD. But the "Autorun"-folder contains a large "Resources"-folder. Maybe there's something wrong or missing?

I read on one forum that it could be because of my processor. I have AMD thunderbird 1,33 GHz, 512 mb RAM, Radeon 9100 64 mb, and I heard there could be some incompatibility with older non-sse processors. Only patch could help me now...... Or upgrade :)

hmm indead it can make problems, but it would be an alternativ setup file, still contact tech support for futher help! Becuase this is not a crack issue this is a manufactory issue. Sorry! :o
