Some Modern PS2 Questions
 

I have a V7 and V12 Modified console both with matrix infinity in them. My questions are: How good is the Diode fix for the V12 slimline ? When I sent it off to have it modified they did this diode fix for free and said that it would ensure the longevity of the laser. I know about the slimline issues and I saw on their site that about 53 ppl had theirs modified and it quit the say they got it back, well Ive had mine for 4 days and it works great, even plays my old copy of ddr 5th mix. To the point, is the Diode fix that the preformed gonna last ?

My other question is, with my old V7, how can I use any Hard drive that I want to put into it ? I read where some ppl have a custom HDD.

No one knows for sure. Its all new with the V12. As the saying goes "only time will tell" but its at least something.

You can use a third party HDD with HDloader in your V7.

You gotta have the Network Adapter to connect the hard drive to the PS2.

...and HDLoader to boot from the installed HDD
