Just a tip I discovered for anyone encoding with this, under XP or maybe it's because of my P4 it goes rather slowly (only using 10% or so of the CPU) - I found if you open Media Player while encoding, it encodes full speed!

No idea why, but just so you know... for anyone still ripping games and stuff... like me ;)

nice tip. is that WMP 10 or can you also open an older version like WMP 6, which i use mostly.?

i once converted a 1 min. and 30 sec. mpg to an .sfd and it took 2 hours and a half. lol.

WMP9 that came with SP2. Probably doesn't matter which one?

Encoding is super fast on my system now ;-) I'm planning on redoing all my GD-ROM rips this summer. Already did Shenmue I and II last week. I'm completely back into my Dreamcast again! :)
