spiderman 2 problems
 

made my hard drive external copied spider man2 and that went okay.

went to play and game would go to black screen sometimes then freeze on loading other times or skip on intro.

loaded nba live 2005 error at 66% cleaned disk and copied fine plays fine.

got a v9 or v10.

any ideas?

Yes.

Not all games are compatible with HDD, look at the list, and also the Black screen means it will not work. Enable it on all modes. (highlight game, press select)

Then test if no joy it wont work.

did the modes and no luck.

checked list and it says should play fine with no modes enabled.


some times it will load but gets to intro then skips.

delete it and re install.

didn't delete it just installed it again under another name.

same thing.

copys okay got to intro pressED x to skip and i was playing game.


turned ps2 off then on and tried to play game black screen.


could it be that it's not getting enough power-connection problem.

other games work though?

hmm.. Maybe check that its plugged into the network adaptor properly.

yep thinking about doing that when i get home.

but really doesn't make sense because you would think if there was a connection problem other games would be affected too.

My Spiderman 2, NTSC, works perfectly on HD with all modes enabled.

do you mean diaabled Warlock??
my problem was some kind of connection wasn't right (i think) just taped everything down and now no problems.

But the weird thing is all the other games worked fine.

After you install a game on the HD highlight it and press select. It then will give you three modes to enable or disable. Mode's 1, 2 and 3.

my spiderman2 works okay Warlock (no modes enabled) and i know about the modes.

was just wondering if your spiderman2 worked when you enabled all three modes, 'cause i never heard that before.
