Cannot play w/ CloneDVD
 

I recently upgraded to Clone DVD and when I clone DVDs they seem to play on my PC but no longer on my Samsung DVD deck. When I load the DVD on the deck, it recognizes the disc as a DVD Video but when it tries to load, it says "This disc cannot be played. Pls. check the disc"

I have done this in the past and they worked fine. I have CloneDVD version 2.5.4.3 and a newly donwloaded RegionFree +css. The DVD+rw is a NEC ND1100A and I have some cheap Teon brand DVDs (that I have used in the past w/ no problems). I have tried various combinations of solutions but have the same output on more than 6 discs.

Any sugguestions??? TIA....

I played around quite a bit on this based upon info from a previous post and the problem seems to be linked to write speed on the newer DVDs. CloneDVD defaults to "max speed" but when I drop down to 2-2.4 the discs seem to clone just fine.

Odd as this is not an issue with DVDs I have that are around 2 years old but only with new ones recently received. Hope this helps some others...
