Hacked Samsung 616-T not playing certain games
I have about 10 backed up games that will not play. They come up as "Unknown" and it automaticly boots to MS Dash. My current dash is UnleashX. These games booted perfectly when I had my original Thompson. Only 1 dvd-r backup of mine, plays in this drive. I honestly forget how I burnt that particular game. I thought this drive was able to play everything??? I burn my media using Nero 6.0 DVD/UDF format. I click that little xbox that says so it can work in an xbox. Now all the games I have backed up will not work on my xbox. My retail games work fine on it. Has anyone else seen this problem? And, is there a certain way to burn media for this particular drive? I anxiously wait for your responses. Im about to throw this xbox out the window. This does however play cd-r backups.
Also, when installing this drive, I have cracked my crystal case, and shattered my 80mm cold cathode light. How, I'm thinking because this drive is too big. EDIT - OMFG!!!!! NOW MY DVD MOVIE BACKUPS AREN'T PLAYING!!!!! EDIT 2 - Quote:

How were you burning this xbox games? Linking your xbox and PC? You have to be careful with those weak plastic cases. They are not the same strength plastic as the original xbox case. You sure it is not just the media you are using? DVD-R works on more devices then does DVD+R. Should consider that also.

Eh.. It sounds like he went from one thought to another back to the first thought..
He was asking about the burning procedure in reguards to the drive not being able to read it.. Along with the type of media being used. When he was talking about weak plastic he was talking about the crystal xbox cases.. I would've thought the OEM crystal cases would be the same quality as a black case.. Dunno.. He cracked the case (from what i get out of it) by trying to force it closed without knowning the samsungs don't fit right in an OEM case. |
