Leisure Suit Larry Magne Cum Laude "UNCUT" Version - Problem

Anyone able to help out where to find the No-CD/Fixed Exe for the "UNCUT" version of this game?

Tried GCW's both german and english, they won't work. I found out the problem is that the fixed exe at GCW is for the "NORMAL" version, whereelse I have the "UNCUT" version.

Thanks!

what kinda protection does it use?
Can you make a mini-image for it?

How much does it retail for anyway? is it cheaper or more expensive than the cut version?

hey man..i also have the uncut version of the game and i tried the cracks at gamecopyworld...
all i can tell you is that the original exe is about 4.5mb...
i downloaded 2 different cracks and the one of them had exactly the same size as the original exe and the other was around 3mb..
oddly enough the file that worked for me was the one with the 3 mb size...
sorry that i can't tell you which one to download but i can't remember...
you'll be able to find it rather easy though...

@Nish
Do you see the head being cut off at the start or do you also see a black screen?

The Uncut version also uses SecuROM v5 (v5.03.06 according to Protection ID.) However, the error reads like the JAM files (Located in the Data\JamFiles directory,) have been changed to a different format. The exact same error occurs if you try to replace the exe file on the digital download. The only solution I can think of is for the person that wrote the original fixed exe to write a new one for the Uncut version as well.

On the same note, every last one of the Trainers on GameCopyWorld also fail with the Uncut version (and the digital download version.) Again, with identical error messages (well, they look identical, a lot more data is given.)

A final note, which is mostly in response to other threads. The digital download doesn't require an internet connection to play. You just have to have the connection when you install the game (or play it the first time, maybe.) I have had no problems playing it when my cable modem is down. I do wish I had never purchased it, though :( Waste of money, I prefer CD's over digital any day of the week, but I wasn't aware that the Uncut version was almost identical to the Uncut & Uncensored version. Other than they have different fonts, I haven't been able to find any content differences.

There is a digital download version that uses ActiveMARK, this has encrypted the 'uncut' files so you can't use them with the retail game! The Uncut game has quite a few files that make up the 'uncut' part, 300mb I think, so you need those files as well.

Someone must either decrypt the ActiveMARK files (or see if the files from a 'retail' copy of the uncut game are encrypted) and post them somewhere, or make an ActiveMARK crack that can still decrypt those encrypted data files.
