will pacific assault run on win98se
 

i am thinking of buying pacific assault,but it seems like it will only run on winxp,or win 2000,i have win98se.
doom was the same,but i managed to get it to run with the hex editor,can you do the same with pacific assault if it wont run on win98se?
i have seen on some websites,that it will run on win98se,but i dont want to buy it if it wont.
seems like that will be the norm from now on with games to just run on winxp,
surely thats going to upset a lot of people with win98se.

the system requirements on the dvd box only say '2000/XP'.

perhaps an email to EA tech support and a look at the EA support center (i'm pretty sure they have sh*tloads of FAQs etc...) might answer your question.
