HDD Size
 

OK Im not really understanding all this patch (48bit mode thing) business with HDadvance and large drive.

I have HDadvance v2 and currently 120GB Maxtor HDD running in a limited edition silver PS2 (sorry dont know more then that in terms of versions)

I have read that some people are using larger drives with some sort of patch. So can someone explain how I can use a drive bigger then 120GB and also what is the largest drive I can use? I have winhiip v1.6.5

I believe HDA v2 (damn ps2ownz $#*^@ :mad: ) has the 48 bit lba patch. This should already allow you to use a HDD larger than 120 gb. Theoretically you are able to use one that is a couple TB I believe (?).
