where to find
 
hey guys where can i find or better yet, which places are my best bit to find that screwdriver tool to open up my xbox. i just got my hdd and i wanna swap it with the fatory old one.

They will have it anywhere they sell tools. Sears, Home Depot, Fred Meyers....It's just a Torx head screwdriver. I think you need a 10 and a 20. Not too sure. Get one of those screwdrivers with the changable heads. Like 20 in one deal.

ok...hmm...i wonder if wal mart has them...but i think im better off at sears.... :)

p.s. could i still go on xbox live with the new hdd?

Thats not an exact definate yet but I understand that if you log online for the first time with your new hdd locked and all and modchip off you MAY not get banned. This is at your own risk though.

i did home depot
i suggest gettin the 10, 15, and 20
for safety sake
diff models require diff sizes
but those 3 cover em all

cool..thanx guys...by the way do i have to do anythning extra to make use of the full capacity of my 200Gb Hdd? i have evox +3935 with the latest bios(i forgot the numbers) and im gonna be using slayers installer cd to reformat the new hdd.

I'm pretty sure walmart recently bought Sears, so walmart might start to carry sears products.

I got mine at Microcenter. Almost any computer shop will have a torx too. I think it costed me $10 for "swiss torx" or whatever its be called.

guess whats guys when i bought my cordless drill i had forgot that i also bought drill bit set that includes a torx set as well ...woohoo :)
