aaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrggggggggghhh (zoo tycoon 2)

I have a backup version of Zoo Tycoon 2, and all it is is a little itty bitty menu thats not even visible, surrounded in light blue! Has anyone else had this problem? Has anyone fixed it yet?
