Water Cooling?!?
Hey all,
Well I am thinking of getting water cooling for my new rig, but I dont know which kit/setup to buy, any advice would be great. I want to cool my CPU, HDD's and Gfx card. Cheers |
Well Im not into water cooling, but if you have that much dough, you should make it look good too. Try www.thinkgeek.com for some veeery cool modding kits :D
|
yeh i was looking ages ago at the reital scanner on their site, lol
|
get the chillblast kits m8 about £150 for a good one
|
Personaly I think water cooling is overkill. There are other methods to keep you cool for overclocking etc that are at better price/value points. For the price of water cooling often you can buy the faster chip. However, it is still a very cool thing to do.
check out www.1coolpc.com - I got some stuff from them but they carry a good varity of stuff let us know what you find out. |
dont buy a kit build your own
you will need water blocks a readiator tubing 3/8 or 1/2 OD pump and clamps & fittings and a resevoir |
What's wrong with a good ol' set of fans?
Works good for me on my ASUS A8N-SLi and AMD64 Socket 939 Processor... |
