A friend of mine has bought swap magic PAL v3 and slide tool however he is having a few problems with it.

He has two PS2 it the disks work fine in one but only the CD disk works in the other (it is a tad older!)

Any ideas?

I got a idea, tell him to throw them in the trash and buy a real modchip. Not trying to be mean, we warn everybody about buying this crap yet they still do. Then when they wont load backups they ask us whats wrong  . Send him to www.ps2ownz.com for answers.

*ugh.... ps2ownz..... how can one website be filled with so much crap? (And how is it that so many people still buy swap magic???)

Bahaha.. Well in his defence Warlock.. I bought that POS before I found the forums.. afterwards it was sort of a now you tell me kinda thing.. I even tried to deny it to convince myself.. It didn't last long.. In the end I went Mod. The only way to fly.

Edit: I guess it must not apply to him though.. His posts suggests he was here for the warnings.. and it was his buddy to.. so I guess he's not ignorant.
Unless his "friend" was also the same sort of friend used when talking to your psychiatrist and refering to yourself..

:( bit harsh guys (and girls)!!!

I have a HDD in my PS2. Fitted after buying and never using what I now know is a donkey piece of kit. Thats why I sold it on ebay to "my friend" - hey I got £26 quid out of it.

So apart from it being rubbish software/hardware thing - is ther any other reason he mite be having this problem?
