after copying games and installing i keep being asked to insert cd when it is already there, what am i doing wrong and how exactly do i patch a game(need step by step instructions)

can't find answer anywhere

I tell everyone asking this, and now I tell you too: Use the search button for gods sake! There is a backup guide for this in the forum.
And what game are you talking about anyway? We can't help unless you give us some details...

Most copies need a NoCD crack for them to work. Like 'Play' has already said you should really do some searching and reading! There are guides on what to do, go to the Sticky 'Guides, turorials and Hints'. You will find the help you need there. ;)
