disk read error even when modchip removed
 

I have disk read error on my ps2 so i took the modchip out and it is still the same...
I have had the lens calibrated and that is ok...


My question is have i damaged my ps2???

disk read errors are only due to a bad laser. Clean the laser, if this does not work, get a new one, preferbly a v7.

check the cable from the board to the laser (orange one) as some times if not put back in propley the laser does this also what chip did u have and hold is the ps2
