FIFA 2005 Startup problem
 

I have an issue with FIFA 2005 and was wondering if anyone else has the same symptoms as me - Ive looked all over numerous Forums and have seen nothing relating to my issue, so I thought Id raise it here and see what comes up.

As soon as I start the app, the screen runs very slowly. The inintal menu takes about 2 minutes to appear and its as though its running at around 1 FPS - its unplayable.

I have WIN XP SP2, NVIDIA 5900XT, Audigy 2 ZX, ATHLON XP3000 and 1GB RAM

I have tried all sorts to fix it - removing AV, disabling network, all windows updates etc - does anyone have any ideas ?

I've gotten exactly the same problem and as yourself my search to solve it has until now proven succesless.

So please if anyone knows the answer to this problem HELP!!!
