NFSU2 copy protection
 

Was just wondering what type of copy protection Need for Speed Underground 2 uses. I tried using ClonyXXL to determine the type but it said it was unknown. Anyone else know?

safedisc 3 with removed version

Is there any chance to tell the version of the latest sd protections, allthough the version tag has been removed ? Is there a special characteristic to find it out ? Are you working on something :) ?

i don´t know yet, but there is lots of stuff to validate if it´s safedisc 3.20.

more infos on it can be viewed in the Protection ID thread wich will be updated a lot more in the next time (depends on the gamer´s help i get).

you can easily make a working Backup CD ! Full playable..

Read the Image with Alc 120% with Safedisc 3 Profile ans Subchannels.

Then write te Image with CloneCD5 and Emulate Week Sectors!

So you can mount the Image or use the Backup CD to install or play...works 100% fine..

Crack is not working-german version of NFSU2
 

For the german version the crack of "Reloaded" is not working for NFSU2. The game starts to load at some sequences and than doesn´t go to the next racing event. It hangs up and nothing happens. So sit and wait for working crack. Also the v1.1 patch and crack doesn´t work. I hope some other user have the same problem and report to the threads to solve the problem.

HOW many threads is this now that has been started looking for the euro nfsu2 crack its just plain stupid lads. The crack will be out when its out the rules say that the game has to be out 2 weeks before you are allowed to request cracks.The game is out since friday 19 nov 04 so its only been a couple of days. if you dont want to play with your original use the alcohol image method in one of the threads in this forum . thats what i am doing for the moment while i am waiting patiently for the crack to be released.P.S. the alcohol emulation works fine do an image of disk 2 with with custom setting tick every thing in the boxes except the last one, read the cd at 8x when completed mount the image on a alcohol virtual drive and voila the game works with out the cd no hanging no freezing just pure speed:D

i will do a mini image for the german version so stay tuned until i get the originals someday this week.
