which chip?
 

Does anybodyknow, if it´s possible to get out which chip is installed in the PS2?

I´ve bought my PS2 modded and I wasn´t informed that there are different chips! But now I want to know because some of my backed up games aren´t running! :mad:

Open up the console and post a picture of the chip

or on start up see if their is any msg under the ps2 logo, or try doing different command to turn it on off.

Thats a point, you mite of turned ur ps2 off, also look where u bought it, it mite say.

No Pic needed! I screwed up my ps, so, that I have seen the main-platine!
I´ve seen the chip, but it was fixed with something that hasn´t allowed to read anything on the chip. And then..... :rolleyes:

I´ve seen on my Cover that there a little sticker is on it with the text:
Matrix Infinity :p

I still don´t know which version i´ve got?! But can I update my chip somehow?

If it was a matrix infinity you would have a on screen logo appear under the PS2 logo at startup.

If you had a matrix infinity it would say so under the PS2 logo at startup.

Hmm..could it be that it´s another Matrix chip?? :confused:

It could be, In your previous post you state that it has a sticker on it that says "Matrix infinity". If was a infinity it would show a logo at boot NTM none of the infinity chips i have seen have a logo on them.
