Fine....I'll take your advice (Help Please)

Ok...I have recently posted about my success (or lack there of) with a Swap Disk / Slide Card Combo. Now, I am ready to get a chip. I will not be able to do this myself though. My PS2 is virtually brand new. I only got it about 3 - 4 months ago (it had the "+" on the box). Anyway, here is what I want. I want to be able to put in one of my backup PS2 games, and play (no swapping, etc.). But, I also want to be able to play the backups online. What would you guys suggest, and where would you suggest getting it. I need a reliable place that will do the whole install and everything. Thanks in advance again.

This Matrix Infinity will allow me to also play the backups online with no problems?

It will give you zero problems online :)

My friend is wrong. there's a little problem. You must patch the DNAS before you can play back ups online.

Ok....not too sure how to do that. So, is there a chip out there, that will allow you to play online?

I believe for all backups, you need to patch the DNAS onto/into your backup. Not sure if it's allowed to talk about it here. Anyway I heard the Matrix is good, and contact spedmetal. He's the right man for the job!

-Spedmetal: Thanks for the fix! My PS2 is running great now! HDD works great with my PS2 as well!

Its ok to talk about patching your DNAS files but you cant post patches or links to patches. Since you need the original for the patching.

You need an actual patch?

I thought you run the Disc ID utility cd and obtain the ID, then use the patching program and fill in the necessary info (Disc ID). What type of patches are you talking about Tyler? Are you talking about the SLXX files? Just curious, it's been awhile since I patched any of my games. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. :)

Personally I don't really bother, I don't play online or go online anyway. I love my PS2, but not enough to bother going online and spending hours on it. :D

Well what I really meant was the ID. No posting ID's here. Because like I stated before you need your original disc to get it. That way we cant be accused of helping piracy.

Oh I see. Whew, I thought I was missing something for a second there.

Tyler!

just something i ran across ever notice when ripping a dvd moive it has the same amount of numbers as a dnas id and is just like a dnas id for exe:12:34:56:78 so i belive its not just a dnas but a id for the disk and i think ever disk has one game or moive or even maybe music cd but i could be wrong just a idea.
