Safedisc 3.20.02 Backups

Are there any settings in Alcohol 120 or Daemon tools that anyone has had success with when trying to backup games with this protection scheme? I've tried burning with safedisc 2/3 at 4X with Alcohol but when I try and play the backup it spins once and stops. I've also made an iso out of a game with 3.20 and tried to mount it with Daemon it doesn't show up as mounted when I try and access the virtual drive. I also get an error message telling me that the disk in question may be corrupted. I've heard of people getting backup games to work with the above 2 methods.

for me it's working perfect

Succesful backing up of the latest Safedisc protection is very hardware dependent. Some burnerss can and some can't.
I have had success using the ASUS 5224a and Alcohol with Safedisc 2/3 profile. Try using a rewritable CD as believe it or not my backups only work on rewritables.

you can easily make a working Backup

I made my Backups on my old Nec1300

Image :
Alcohol (newset) with SafediscProfile and Subchannels..write it as a CloneCD Image

Burning :
With CloneCD 5x and Emulate Week Sectors! (thats the trick!)
When you've CloneCD Tray enabled you can play it from the CD..
Also you can mount the Image!

works with 99% of my SafeDisc 3x Games...

Safedisk 3.2xx Backups

Hallo,
I used LG-4160B for Backups (reading and writing) of FIFA 2005 and NBA Live 2005 CD2 with Alcohol 120%. The Copies worked perfect mounted in the Alcohol virtual Drive, which is the first step to test the Backup before burning.
Reading with max. 8x speed and Safedisk 2/3 profile (DPM=High 1xspeed).
Writing with max. 4-8x and Safedisk profile (no RPMS-Emulation) on CD-RW.

To test your equipment, first donīt use any Emulation and EMF-Correction.
If this doesnīt work, use EMF-Correction and write RPMS on the media.
The success depends on the deviceīs writing possibilities and sometimes on the used media. I try unused CD-RW or a good CD-R to be on the safe side.

yes... But i talk about to create and use the Backup CD ....not only to mount a Image what cost Disc Space.. to mount a Image is easey and nothing new...but...

with Emulate Week Sectors in CloneCD5 you can make a perfect Backup CD...full usable!!! works perfect with all new SafeD 3x Games...
You only must to have CloneCD Tray in Task...

Safedisk Copies

@ILLUMINATOR23

...sorry, but canīt you read properly?
I said, mounting is (only) the first step to test the copy.Underneath I gave the settings for reading and writing, naturally to make a good copy on CD-R/RW!
