i know this is asking for a lot .. i purchased the game far cry and its got great graphics and everything but the problem is i did not check it out close enough to see that it does not play on LAN witch is what i do with my other half. i am wondering if there is some kind of crack or something that will get it to play on LAN.????????

It plays on LAN!!? But there are no bots! I used to play against my 10 year old son all the time! Even tho there are only the 2 of us on the whole screen. :)
If I remember it correctly go to Multiplayer and just choose Local or Lan, something like that, just look around in the Network section. ;)

Farcry in LAN for a 10 year old is fairly lame! There is just the 2 of us in there, no bots no monsters so yeh I think its ok. ;)

i don't know how you are doing it. when i try to connect i get a message that says disconnected from server LAN IP ONLY. i play over a dozen games on LAN without any trouble.[ queston ] do you use one or two copys of the same game ??????
