nfsu 2 problems
 

hey all,
i have recently purchased need for speed underground 2 and i made a backup copy so that i could keep the original in good condition but what happens is ive burnt it no problems and the burnt copy works fine on other machines but mine whenever i try to install to my computer the install progress gets stuck on 53%??? any help would be appreciated and ive tried copying over the game from my other machine and when i try to start the game it restart my computer???

It seems your CD-ROM/DVD-ROM is damaged.
Try installing the game using your CD-Burner!

i would not be that quick with conclusions. my dvd-rom has read-errors with some cd-rs as well. imo its not damaged in any way. in my experience that depends on the combination reader <=> cd-r if the data can be read by the reader or not.
