I need help with Star Wars Battlefront!!
 

Hi 2 all!!
i have a question can someone help me with Star Wars Battlefront.I wanna backup to dvd this game,i ear that using ICOMP cab editor u can edit cab files,but what version i have to use? and what i have to do? extract all the cab from different cd and rebuild 1 single cab? i dont understand really well.....
if someone had my same problem and figured out how to solve this can help me?

U need the i6comp versión, and NOT the 1.02 widely available over the net.

U can download the version i use at CdSTeam.

Finally, u only need to REPLACE original .exe inside cab with cracked one, and not REPACKING. With this game this is easy to do.

I6comp guides (in spanish) are also available on CdSTeam. Maybe this game isn't explained, but Installshield is so identical in almost every games. There is also a lot of tricks to avoid anti-cracking countermeasures, but in this web site it is also explained common tricks.

u can also try Winpack, from Snoopy, but i prefer a DOS tool that really does what i want it to do.

www.cdsteam.net You have same link at the "where to find cracks" post pasted above.

Once entered, go to "descargas" (Downloads) and then "Utilidades" (Utilities). look for the iXcomp and done. For installing u have the original authors note and some in spanish made by me.

To modify cab, put every .cab and .hdr in same folder and use i6comp to replace exe (if needed) (thats what i call install and play)

To pass into DVD, preserve the original CD estructure, with every .cab in same location, and burn. Done.

ok i founded i downloaded a file called IXComp with inside i6comp....can u tell me what i have to do now? put all the cab files in one folder and use i6comp? whats the command line i have to use?

"i6comp L data1.cab *.exe" (will report u the number of the file u are looking for (main exe)

"i6comp R data1.cab ###" with ### the number of the original exe. Wait and done.

TIP: I consider u have correctly installed i6comp (typing i6comp on any folder in DOS will start program)

just 1 thing: i wanna know if the enghlis crack for version 1.1 it will be ok for italian version?
