I have just upgraded BF1942 to 1.6 I have downloaded and replaced the no cd crack. I am still asked to insert the cd can anyone help.

I believe its a backup cd crack only.

"Backup crack" not sure what you mean?

Backup Crack! means u need to use your backup cd to play!

The crack for V1.6 isn't only the EXE. You need also a fixed MOD.DLL !

There are various type of cracks:

Fixed EXE: It's the original exe with stripped copy protection. You will need a (simple) backup CD to play the game.

NoCD/NoDVD Crack: Using this crack, you can play the game without insert a backup cd.

NoCD/Fixed EXE: When you just install the game and copy in the crack, it's like a normal fixed exe. It will be a NoCD Crack, when you copy needed file from the backup cd to the game folder on your HD.

Loader/Launcher: You have to start the game with the loader/launcher and not with the normal main exe, to skip the copy protection check. Sometimes it works without a cd, sometimes it need a backup cd.
