matrix infinity v7 install problem
 

hey, I'm doing my first mod chip and so far everything has gone better than I expected, :cool: thanks to all the helpful posts. My problem is putting the I wire on, :confused: I've looked around the web thinking others had this problem and found nothing. Help me out here guys, how do you get that protective metal cover off the back of the board? I'm totally lost as to how and where that last wire goes.

if the only thing you have is the motherbord and the metal thing underneath it, then the metal thing isnt stuck with any screws anymore. by pulling a bit you should be able to get it off. the place where the I goes is underneath it. good luck.

The metal plate on the underside can be a little stiff. Hairdriers on a low heat setting held at a fair distance away loosens it sufficiently and it just lifts off :)
