Can I take any Hard Drive and put in my PS2 so i can load the new Socom 2 maps when they come out next mounth?

only if you have a mod chip with auto atad patching

I have an Apple Pro , but I don't know if it has the patching your talking bout.

no it doesnt but you can still use any hdd if you patch the burn for DNAS and using the RE : OB patch found here

the new socom 2 patch won't let you play online with patched back up, so you better wait untill someone finds a solution.

I dont want to patch the game i just to put the hard drive in so i can put the new socom 2 maps on the hdd the new maps are going to come on a CD so why do i need to patch the game?

oh I always thought that you should download the new map from socom server into ps2, well if it comes on cd then there's no problem. :D

if it comes on a cd then the cd with the maps will need to be patched or you are gonna need a $ony hd

no, official hdds disable all modchips except the matrix infinity and dms3
