FileForums - HD Loader confusion - Can anyone advise me?

Hi all,

I'm new to the PS2 modding scene having just had a DMS3+ fitted to my playstation last weekend. I'm still in shock just to how many doors this has opened up with the ability to run all the verious home brew software out there from emulation programs to media play back etc..

Anyway - to add to the enjoyment i was thinking about buying this HD loader that everyone is talking about... but i have a question :-

Can someone please tell me where the HD draws its power from? I'm worried that the HD will put to much of a strain on my PS2 and blow a component. Where does the HD source its power from? Does the network adapter have its own seperate power supply?

Any answers to the above would be deeply appericated.
