NTSC on PAL
 

I have got a PAL PS2 with no mod chip. I have just got a copy of "dead or alive 2 hardcore" which is playing in black and white. I assume that its because its in NTSC.

I have searched and found topics of converting PAL to NTSC but not the other way that will fix this! I am using the standard cable and scart block that came with the console.

Is it a function of the game, console or TV? and can it be fixed easily? I am running with hdloader/advance will one of the compatibility modes fox it?

If the picture is in black and white but still visable, ie as if the colour has been turned down, then you need a RGB Scart lead (Cheap as chips from game etc)

Hang on, ur ps2 isn't modded and you've got a NTSC game???? How the hell r u running it?
