Any Gretzky or NHL fans in the house?
If so Gretzky NHL 2005 is coming out NOv 9...after watching some previews and screenshots I think it looks pretty fun. It's going to be a good way to get my ONLY hockey fix haha

Funny they are making new hockey games when they aren't even having a season this year.

Strange........ Why is there no season this year?

cuz the whole thing is messed.. both sides are gready!! the NHLPA wants more money and so do the players and the PA is talking about salary caps and the players dont..which resulted in a LOCK OUT..now there is still a chance that the season will resume but highly unlikly for this year and POSSIBLY nevr!

oh ya there great.. but the salary is getting out of hand.. there are so many players in the NHL who make over 9 million AMERICAN a year :eek: .. i could see maybe 5 million max!! but 9 THATS CRAZY!!

All pro sports are like this. Baseball, football, soccer, Tennis, Basketball, Hockey even Golf. To me there all a bunch of Rich, over paid cry babies. Most of us wont make 9 million in our lifetime. They make this a year and claim its not enough. I think it was Alex Rodriguez that makes $15.000 per inning with the NY Yankees. Sometimes all he has to do is run onto the field, stand there a few minutes while the Pitcher strikes out 3 batters then run to the dugout $15 thousand richer. Nobody it worth this kind of money!!

The big thing a lot of the people like about Gretzky NHL 2005 is that the AHL is playable. I like to stick to the NHL and playing online, but it's nice that I can play the AHL too.
