i have a messiah chip in my ps2 and i'm going to the states soon will the us games i bring home work and what is the boot procedure (i looked the sticky but couldn't find anything)
thanx

Messiah or Messiah 2? Either should be able to boot if you back up your discs first. I would also recommend you patch them from NTSC to PAL (look in the stickies cause I know youll ask).

@ajmi982
I think that should answer your question.

Also that chip wont change the settings on his ps2 region. Thats another modification altogether.

Answer that when you get a chance. If you have a messiah 2 I dont think you need to back them up or anything. Just play like normal. If that scart doesnt work for you then I suggest making a backup and patching. But I think youll probably be fine.

With the old Messiah youll probably have to back up your games for it to play them.
