Problem with DVD-r x8 on PS 2
 

Hi I had some problems backing up ps 2 games on x8 DVD-r I use arita and traxdata eight speed the new once befor on the 4 speed i never had problems with both of them could anyone help me please I wish to continue using these DVDs because i think they are the best.It seams they they burn ok but would not work allways and not on all ps2 from ratio 4-1 on my friends ps2.

Personally I wouldn't use either of those on my ps2.
Try using a verbatim or Ritek 8x dye

The Aritas are using Riteks 8x dye :(

Just out of curiosity burn a game on one of your 8x discs at 4x, then report back if there's any change.

For some reason my Version 7 has only ever liked verbatims as from new. So I bought enough to keep me going. She's been through Uni with me and been hammered but still going strong! :o

i use arita 8x -r GO5 dye have had no problems with burning and game play but most of the time i write at 4x n e way just to be sure ;) but have had good burns at full speed on pioneer 107 with updated fw !! keep on truckin untill you get in the zone then stick with it :p

Thx guy what programe do you suggest i use to burn ps2 games ?

try record now dx alot of peolpe swear by it ;)
