Laser noise question...yes another one.
 

My backups are burned on G05's, at min - med speed, 1x-2x, and for example Madden 2k5 makes the occassionaly "whirling" sound, like a spinning, noise, kinda like the same noise u might get out of ur pc CD-ROM. The game pretty much plays fine, load times might be a little off, but I havent known any differences. So far I don't have any noticeable noise on the originals. v10 ps2 modded w/infinity.

Any comments?

Burn as fast as you can with those. Low speeds on new media will give you lower quality than higher speeds. The discs were designed for higher speeds.

My friend can burn those 8x G05's @ 12x with his 108. We checked the quality in k-probe and it had excellent PI/PIF error rates. Meaning - High quality.
