lg 4120b dvd writer
 

I just purchased the LG 4120b dvd burner and I was wondering how to burn dvd -r with this drive...everytime I burn a dvd it comes out as a dvd+r and my dvd won't play it...
can anybody help or point me in the right direction

The burner can't change the format of the drive. Are you sure you're using -R media.

My LG drive works ok.
