CD-2-DVD: MSI Installer: How to and other games that work with this method
Since it was written so well by Grumpy I hardly thought it was necessary to write it again myself. This is how it's done:
Quote:
When copying the contents of CD2 and onwards usually the only files you don't want to re-copy are those that are associated with autorun. Usually autorun.exe and autorun.inf. When it comes to volume title it is a good idea to give it the same title as the fist CD of the set. If you know any other games that can be done the same way please email me at valtiel98**********com and I will add it to the above list. PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS THREAD. This will make the thread very cluttered and take away the reason I am doing this. In the same sentiments as Grumpy, I hope this stops more threads of the same topic to do with games with .msi installers. |
Er seems we have been working towards the same goal! :)
