Encodonig MPEG 2?
 

Hi,

I have just bought a DVD writer to make home movies from my mini DV camcorder.

I have Ulead vidio studio 5 and Nero 5.5.

My understanding is I need to encode to MPEG 2 to get better quality and then burn to DVD.

Do I have what I need to do it? I don't like Ulead much and can't find anything about encoding.

i tried Pinnacle movie 9 trial which i found very easy, but ir wouldn't let me capture more than 30 mins of footage, and I couldn't find anything about MPEG 2 encoding.

can anyone advise?

take a look at nero 6 i think i saw something about mpeg encoding there try nero's web site for info B
