whats the best media to use to back up ps2 games
 

just got my ps2 chipped and i dont want to be using any crappy media to back up my games so can anyone tell me which is the best media to use and where to get it from, i heard alot of people mention to use media with ritek dye which brands of media use this dye. thanks

Ritek/Ridata/Traxdata all use Ritek dye. Get any one of them.

Taiyo Yuden are the best but expensive, Verbatim mcc dye next and if there too expensive try Ridata Ritek G05......all excellent discs and will keep that laser working for longer :)

r tdk dvd-rs any good for backing up ps2 games?
and do purle bottem dvd-rs damage the ps2 lense?

the darker the purple dye is the better , that generaly shows how good the media is buy some of the above mentioned media n see the difference in colour ,,,,
