What can I do to play Pal or NTSC (Japan) games on my NTSC (U.S.) PS2.............That does not involve soldering ( I have heard about the swap disks, but is there a nother no solder option)

Dude, no solder is a complete waste of time. Find an installer in your area and just take the plunge. Check out the mod installers sticky to find an installer. Duo2 and Matrix Infinity are the best choice, but stay away from anything no solder and anything requiring boot discs. They don't always work and they are more hassle than they are worth... :)

This is good advise, I suggest you take it.
