Need Help With Ebay Problem

Hi guys,

I've been using ebay for about 3 years now and have never had a problem....upuntil now.

I found this guy based in the USA who was selling a load of squaresoft RPG's etc (Namely stuff not released in the UK)----psone by the way :)

Anyway he has very good feedback so didn't see a problem.

Ended up spending over $500 dollars with this guy and even though the majority of the items have turned up as described some are nothing like they should be.

A few have severe scratches (I read an iso of the games that have and my pc even brings up errors :( ) and a few others just don't fit the auction description.

I have emailed him a list of the problem titles with specific errors/problems/faults with that title.

If he doesn't wanna know what can I do next? I paid via Paypal

You can get his contact info (phone number, address, etc...) via ebay. Just go to your "My Ebay" and look under the "Related Topics" for info on what to do. Or you can contact paypal and try to get your money back.

nah paypal wont give money back, all u can do is try to contact him, and if he refuses, protest to ebay and give him a bad feedback.

If you got the product, then refunding with the person is all you can do. Paypal got my money back when I was scammed out of $110, but I never got the product, and he didn't have any shipping info when he had said he had already shipped it.

Also a carefully worded email can also do the trick. Ive never lost money on ebay. Im sure it has to do with my sharp tounge. ;) I have a way of intimidating people.

Well he's replied back apologising and has offered me a refund for the items I am unhappy with....but obviously involves sending them back to the USA. With insurance it's probably gonna cost more than it's worth so i'm gonna send the damaged discs away to my good old friend (The disc doctor)

Cheers,

Jay

Car polish them. Theyll do better than a disc dr would.
