ps2 disc drive?
 

I looked around but couldnt find the answer to this question.

Is it possible to replace the disc drive from older ps2 ver(e.g.v4) with a drive from a v10 (i read that v10 has a far more durable drive)?

my drive makes a little rattle noise but u have to put ur ear close to it to hear this. is this normal? ,does anyone know some of the signs that a drive is failing?

You can't do it (I don't think)
