sympatico--> outlook express
 

hey guys.. another question for ya.. how do i find the pop3 and smtp servers for sympatico.ca or any other e-mail? i am unable to get my outlook express to work properly.. i think it was working awhile ago but now i get an error saying it cant connect to server.. where can i find how to set up my incoming/outcomming mail to work properly?

hmm, well hotmail is pop3 i think, and it works for me from outlook, i just click on open new profile or something like that entered all the details and it works fine, but this was normal outlook not express so i wouldnt know :(

ya i know.. and my hotmail works with outlook express fine.. it just asks for sum numbers ( 111.111.11.1) and it says the one i have enterd doesn't work!

well if u read my post above (which you are since ur replying).. i just wanna fix that first then see if this goes back to normal!! i think its all connected.. didn't think about it b4 i posted tho..

ok well if u read the othr one i just fixed my internet.. well my hotmail works but i still get an error from sympatico.ca.. this is the error i get!!

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'Sympatico E-mail', Server: '127.0.0.1', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

well eather the info for the server is wrong or something is blocking u from connection, eg: a firewall perhaps?

ok.. does anyone know the correct settings for sympatico.ca.. ive checked the site but cudn't find anything.. ill check again!
