Disk Image that is good?
I wasn't sure where to post this, but, I was wondering with all the Disk Imaging software out there, which one tops them all? I want to backup all my music cds, game cds, some dvds, video cds, etc., onto my external 400GB HDD Firewire drive (so I don't have to carry all my junk when I'm on the road)...
what is required: Data, Audio, Subchannels and some copy protection schemes. help! :) |
They are pretty much all good, just pick one and you will be fine.

hmmm, do they all copy subchannels and cd protections fine?
i'm looking at iso since that's a standard (?) i am currently using mds/mdk alcohol 120% (since I bought it) but stumbled upon a old cd image I backked up a while ago, and it had 3 files, a ccd, sub, and img - if i wanted to convert that to iso or mds/mdk, would it merge all 3 ot something? |

As for the old cd image you backed up, what program did you use to make the image? |
