Ahhhhh! Console Source Rating
 

I ordered the Matrix Infinity from Console Source on July 29th and still have not recieved it. I tried e-mailing them but they are evading me or give me indirect answers. So I tried calling them at the toll free number and it doesn't work. Finally I called their international number and got an answer. My order is backordered. They asked me if I wanted the DMS 3 instead. I looked at their website just 5 minutes ago and the item appears instock. There should be a sticky 2 rate stores. From 1-5 I would give them a 2 because of the following reasons:
1. Toll free number does not work
2. Website is not updated correctly (out of stock Items appear instock)
3. Never recieved an email confirmation of my order or my status.
4. They do not respond to emails sent to them (if they do they don't answer clearly). :mad:

They told me that they should be instock in 2 weeks.

If it's Console Source like you say they will get you the chip... it may take a little time on a back order so it was a good thing you called, but don't worry you'll get what you ordered. Now if you tick them off..........

I just got an email saying that my chip has been shipped. :) Consolesource has just gone up a point in my rating.

Just wanted everyone to know that today September 17, 2004 I recieved my modchip from consolesource.com . The order was placed on July 29th. The chip came in a bubble envelope and the package contains the chip and some awg #24 wire which i suppose is for the power and ground. I did not get any instructions for the installation or any diagrams but thats no biggy. I'll just download them. I will keep my overall rating of that site 3 of 5 stars. If they would have been faster or if they would have kept me informed through emails they would have gotten a better score. Thanks everyone. I'll let you guys know how the installation goes :) .

ya they are an amzing site.. its to bad that u didn't have the sucess that so many of us have had with them! i would give them about a 4.8 out of 5!!

They probably are great. Maybe its because I live in Puerto Rico. It is a long distance but I have ordered other things online and have recieved them only in days. I don't think they are awful and I didn't post this to harm their reputation but its good to tell personal experiences because it might help other people out and its also makes the website aware of their flaws and lets them improve :). Thanks for hearing me out.

I am still waiting on my copy of hdloader i ordered from them on 9/9 today is the 17th so it aint been real long but i better have it tomorrow. If i got to wait till monday imma be bummed :(

Sorry to hear you didn't get yours yet BL33D. As I mentioned in another post, mine came very quickly. Have you checked your order status recently on their website?

The only negative is that it is the version that says "Free" HD Loader. Am I to understand that it's a "rip" of some kind? Does it still function as the original HD Loader? Also, I tried to back it up by making an ISO, it gives me a "sense" error. I tried it on 2 different machines and with both RNM & DVD Decrypter.

In another post, Tyler mentions backing it up with "Clone" but this will only allow you to do installs and will not play the games. With this thing so heavily protected, it sucks if it craps out.
