lite-on dvd recorder
 

hi i want to make a backup of my starwars trilogy on vhs .
i would like to burn to my lite-on dvd recorder but it says protected, :confused: does anyone know a way around this if there is a way.
maybe a code for my recorder or something.

Just wait a while longer. The DVD version of the trilogy is comming soon. Itll have a lot better quality than your vhs version.

But just for the record what would i be able to do if i was to backup others to dvd ?

If you are ripping from VHS to DVD, I really wouldnt know. Maybe there is some sort of chip to install in your VCR.
