dead ps2
 

i was installing a flip top case and i believe i screwed a hole through the reset/eject ribbon, i replaced the ribbon from a scrapped ps2 and now i dont get video, dont get a blue led. i do get a red light when i turn it on. i also get a green light when i push the eject button or the reset button. i have also noticed that the fan does not power up. but never get a blue light, nor does the tray come out, nor do i get any video. any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Sounds like something's earthing somewhere. Why were you installing a flip top - they aren't very good :(
