Doom 3 not working
 

i downloaded the file Doom 3 v1.0 [ENGLISH] No-CD/Fixed EXE from gcw and i followed the instructions, but when i click the exe a little blue window comes up and goes through thte startup **** but then on the bottom it says

"unknown command 'vid_restart'
idrendersystem::Shutdown(1)
Shutting down OpenGL subsystem
...shutting down OGL
Couldn't load default.cfg"

please help me find out how to fix this problem...any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.

Update your display drivers as it looks like there is an error in your openGL driver

how...and where?

depends on your display card, NVidia or ATI are the most common cards. Just goto their site and download it there

It is not the No-CD as I just finished the game without any major probs!

This isn't a warez website. This is a back-up forum. Use this forum to back-up your retail=you bought games. The websites name is GameCopyWorld. Not How to install and run pirated games!! WTF!!

With a game with this kind of fanbase, you would have expected the ID fanboys to support the developer. Makes you think.
