CloneDVD question
 

I have just purchased a new Plextor DVD burner and am trying to copy a DVD with AnyDVD and CloneDVD. I run AnyDVD and then CloneDVD and then click on the CloneDVD tab but when the next screen comes up the preview window is blank. I have installed PowerDVD and can view the DVD fine.
Any suggestions?

Check and make sure you have the latest version. I think CloneDVD had a problem with Plextors and it may have been fixed.

I downloade the latest version of CloneDVD but I am still getting a blank screen with everything greyed out.
Any other suggestions

Only other thing I can recommend is maybe contacting CloneDVD and asking them if there are any fixes.

I got that problem solved and now it seems to work fine. Thanks for the info.

I copied my first DVD and it came back saying unsuppored format, and would not play. But then after 3 or 4 times trying it it started working.
Not sure what that was all about.
Does it really matter which you use DVD files or ISO. Is one any better that the other. I know the ISO is good if your archiveing.

It doesnt matter what form you use, because CloneDVD burns them the same way in the end. What kind of media are you using? That may have a part in the disc not playing on your dvd player.

I am using some media from newegg that was free with the purchase of the burner. It doesn't state a manufacture.
UPDATE: now the dvd i copied is working. I dont know why but now the dvd is working fine in both my computer and my home theater dvd
Not sure what that was about, but thanks for your help. I believe I will be a happy custome now.
