What's the fastest and best way to turn my avi films into a normal DVD? (until now i've allways used Nero) And how can i use a Avi film with AC3 sound?

Well the fastest really depends on what your pc can accomplish. Use TMPEG Encoder to encode your avi's to dvd format.

but you still have to wait for over an hour

Thats why I dont use AVI. To hell with that noise.


I just make straight backups of my dvd's. Only takes max 32min (including ripping and burning time).

well i used to make straight copiez but with avi you can put 5 movies in a dvd with great quality.that's what i'm thinking.and i have bought 100 dvd-r x4 princo for 30 euros only and wait for 3 hours to make an avi file...
