Best way to emulate Safedisk 3? Doom 3 question.
 

I think the crack is not well made, and I heard reports that it decreases your performance due to some wierd check.

I have an unsuccessfuly burned copy of Doom 3, I used Alcohol 120%, latest version, chose Safedisk 2/3 profile, and copied.

Well, what happens now is that when I start the game with the burned CD, it keeps reading from my CD-RW, the light keeps blinking, but the game won't start for whatever reason.

Once in like 10 tries, it would start.

Whats the best way to emulate Doom 3's protection?

I am using Alcohol 120%, enabled all possible emulations, but it does not help at all.

Follow The Guide To Converting To Dvd.....it Works.

I Have Been Able To Convert All Titles Sofar To Dvd....farcry,doom3,kotor, Etc Etc.

Make Sure You Use Modified Exe...i Have No Problems....ended Game With It.

Make Sure Your Doom3 Installer Is Modified.

Make Sure You Dont Copy The 0000000001.tmp File.

Make Sure To Only Copy Data Files From Other Cd's....not The Noautorun Or Configure Files.

Try Using Nero 6 Smart Start......i Know Alcohol Is Suppose To Be The Best....but I Disagree.

try daemon tools or mounting from hd with emulation on or try gamejackl i've heard it would be fully compatible with doom ... havend checked myself though..

Dont play from your Cd-rw, safedisc checks for ATIP and the cd-rw will give it to the protection ---b00m*
