now i have my network card in my ps2 can i play online games for free like xbconnect? as my isp wont let me connect with my slow connection unless i upgrade to a special package

Yes, you can pay for free...

he means once u have broadband you can play for free, its not ur isp who wont let you do it its sony, they do not want 56kb/s users as they wud slow down game play... which is a gud idea :)

i dont have 56 kb tho :p i got 150 kb. But ntl tell me i cant use it.

;) im with ntl and have 750 broadband cost £25 per month (plug n play baby , plug n play) have a few probs with ntl !!!!!! every now n then i get discon from an important game and it upsets me greatley but it only happens now n then so i spose i gotta live with it lol ... as for ntl sayin u cant use it they tried it on with me sayin i needed to pay extra £5 per month phewie to then just dont mention ps2 n it will be ok ive been on now for a few months n no probs apart from ocais disconect.
